Toddlers and two's

(12 months – 24+ months)

 

Toddlers learn best through play by exploring the world around them using all of their senses. We address the very active needs of the toddler by providing a schedule that will satisfy their curious minds, with plenty of opportunity for hands on exploration.

  • Our toddler program follows a daily lesson plan that focuses on building language, creativity, fine and gross motor skills, problem solving skills, and social interaction.

 

  • Independence is encouraged in self help skills such as sitting for mealtimes, eating with silverware, putting on their own clothing, and assisting in potty training, and hand washing.

 

  • We encourage the toddler’s emotional and social development by helping each child recognize and deal with the complexities and challenges of their feelings.

 

  • Activities include music and movement, painting and drawing, story and Bible story time, singing, play dough, puzzles, blocks, housekeeping and kitchen play, puppets, dolls, and dress up clothes.
